Once plugged in, everything worked as promised: stable throughput, full PoE, stackable performance. But the box arrived dented and one mounting bracket was slightly warped. Thankfully the switch itself was unharmed.

The 740 W PoE budget is enough to power high-draw devices like pan-tilt cameras and WiFi 6/7 APs. We hooked heavy loads and didn’t see voltage sag. Knocked off one star because initial firmware had a small bug we had to patch.

We deployed this switch in a shopping mall to power dozens of wireless APs and security cameras. All devices stay connected, even during mall events. The only small miss: more advanced LED diagnostics would be nice in low-light racks.

The ICX8200-48P is solid — throughput, PoE, management features all excellent. But the package was delayed by nearly a week, which pushed back our deployment schedule.
