RUCKUS 901-R770-XX00 — Ruckus R770 Wi-Fi 7 tri-band concurrent wireless Access Point with 2x2 (2.4GHz) + 4x4 (5GHz) + 2x2 (6GHz) RF configurations. Wi-Fi 7 support in all three frequency bands. 6GHz band supports LPI mode and SP mode with AFC. Fully backward compatible with Wi-Fi 6E. Can also be configured to 2x2 (2.4GHz) + 4x4 (5GHz) dual-band RF configurations through software, with Wi-Fi 7 support in both frequency bands. BeamFlex+®, one 10-Gigabit Ethernet backhaul, one 1-Gigabit auxiliary port, 802.3bt PoE-in and 48V DC, onboard Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee® technology selectable IoT radio with “Matter” and “Thread” capable, USB 2.0, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and DPSK3. Includes adjustable acoustic drop ceiling bracket. Does not include power adapter or PoE injector. Includes Limited Lifetime Warranty.

performance on the unit itself, but I must go 3 stars because the shipping delay and customs clearance took nearly three weeks. Once it arrived, though, it’s the “WiFi 7 access point for high-density device environments” I hoped for.

We have a three-floor home and were struggling with coverage. The R770 has solved that — “WiFi 7 access point for multi-floor home” is a fitting description. Signal stays strong top to bottom, and no more roaming drops.

Giving it 4 stars because while the hardware is clearly premium (the “WiFi 7 tri-band access point with IoT BLE/Zigbee” features are great), I found a small firmware bug: occasionally the IoT radio dropped out until I rebooted. Not a deal-breaker, but worth pointing out.

I mounted the R770 near my patio door since I work outdoors sometimes. The signal out there used to be weak; now I get full bars. The “WiFi 7 indoor access point with extended outdoor reach” does its job.
